
This measuring instrument is a clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter that can measure the volumetric flow rate of a liquid inside a pipe by attaching it from the outside. By making full use of the latest electronic and digital signal processing technologies, this ultrasonic flowmeter is considerably more compact than conventional flowmeters. It integrates the transmitter and flow sensor, eliminating the need for signal cable wiring, while its grease-free design facilitates mounting on pipes.

Using ultrasonic pulses transmitted diagonally between upstream and downstream transducers mounted on the outside of the pipe, flow is measured by detecting the time difference obtained by the fluid flow.

Display, Outputs and Options
The flowmeter features a 4-digit 2-line LED display for easy monitoring. Output signals include 4 to 20 mA DC (1-point) and contact (2-point). A pipe surface temperature measurement option is also available.

With a power supply of 20 to 27.5 V DC and a power consumption of 2.5 W or less, the S-Flow flowmeter is energy-efficient. Weights vary according to model: FSZ08 (400 g), FSZ15 (500 g), FSZ25 (600 g).
