The pressure transmitter differential for high static pressure measures the differential pressure of a multiphase flow measurement system using a depressurizing element. This high-precision sensor is designed to withstand the high static pressures resulting from the drilling depth of subsea wells. It withstands the extreme conditions of the marine environment and accurately measures water, oil and gas flows in topside drilling and offshore subsea production systems.
Since 1996, Fuji Electric France has been developing differential pressure transmitters specifically for oil & gas applications, perfectly suited to flow measurement in Topside and Subsea applications (depths up to 3500 meters).
Thanks to a technology based on a sensitive element that floats in the neck of the cell, our differentialpressure transmitters allow flow measurements with the following static pressures:
Inaccuracy and poor stability in differential pressure and flow measurement can lead to considerable loss of money, or even catastrophic equipment failure. Under extreme static pressures, achieving acceptable long-term accuracy and reliability is a challenge for most operators that has been solved and improved by Fuji Electric since 1996.
Our pressure measurements are used by most international and national oil companies worldwide.
Since 2020, hydrogen production projects (whether grey, blue or green) and new stations have been booming. The very low density of hydrogen in its gaseous state requires engineers to define an enormous compression factor, leading to static pressures of up to 1,379 barg (20,000 psig).
Based on its experience in the oil and gas industry, Fuji Electric offers its high static differential pressure transmitter with gold plating for hydrogen flow measurement applications.
Thanks to the technology based on a sensitive element that floats in the neck of the cell, and the presence of a protective membrane, Fuji Electric's sensor is able to achieve exceptional performance in harsh environmental conditions unmatched by the competition.
Our sensors are available with a multitude of different process connections, with or without remote seals, and are equipped with appropriate offshore marine protection.

In a fast-paced environment such as the Subsea market, manufacturers of single-phase/multi-phase flowmeters need to focus on their core competencies, as shorter lead times and standardization have become the norm. For high static pressures, measuring differential pressures consistently is also one of the keys to flow measurement in very deep waters.
Since 1996, Fuji Electric has partnered with leading OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in the oil and gas industry to design and manufacture integrated products based on the unrivalled performance of its differential pressure cells. With oil operators now forced to dig to new depths, our company is a partner of choice for flowmeter manufacturers.
Our vertical integration in Clermont-Ferrand enables us to co-produce sensors combined with hyperbaric underwater housings, which have been supplied to every field in the world.
