The self-adjusting PID controller PXF series simplifies the system temperature control. With its self-adjusting PID function, it automates temperature management in industrial processes. This saves energy and reduces production rejects by eliminating temperature fluctuations.

Advanced temperature control functions
ON/OFF control
When the measured temperature value (PV) falls below the set value (SV), the output of temperature controller is activated and the heating element switches on.
When the measured value exceeds the temperature setpoint, the controller output is deactivated and the heating element switches off.
In this way, the output of the digital controller is activated intermittently according to the setpoint, to maintain a constant temperature.
This method of temperature control is called "On/Off control".
PID control with auto-tuning function
The PID parameters of temperature controller are automatically set by the automatic calculation functions.
This temperature controller offers 2 versions of auto-tuning:
The standard version (auto-tuning where the reference is the setpoint) The "no overshoot" version (auto-tuning where the reference is 10% below the setpoint).
Fuzzy logic control with auto-tuning
Thanks to fuzzy logic control, PXF temperature controllers improve response to external disturbances. By continuously monitoring the measured value, PXF temperature controllers eliminate overshoots without altering the start-up time. In other words, external disturbances can be quickly resolved.
Comparison between fuzzy logic control and conventional control:
