Signal converter and signal conditioner

Signal converters and signal conditioners are industrial instrumentation devices used for analog signal processing. These devices convert signals from industrial processes into analog or digital signals to interface with industrial process automation equipment. These signal conditioners provide isolation, conversion, amplification, alarm management, display, and control functions.

Using signal converters and signal conditioners

Signal conditioners convert a field signal from various sensors into a standard signal that can be processed by PLC, DCS or PC systems.

They are also used for :

amplify a signal in order to increase the load-driving capability,
isolate a signal to prevent ground loops.

You can select from more than 75,000 combinations of process signal I/O, power input, and mounting configurations.
