What are the different types of regulator?

There are two main types of temperature controller: on/off controllers (sometimes called thermostats) and proportional pid controllers. The types of industrial temperature controllers available are designed to meet specific needs.

The on/off controller simply activates or deactivates the heating or cooling element to maintain the desired temperature.
