The FRENIC-Ace E3 frequency inverter, an evolution of the FRENIC-Ace E2, retains the flexibility, compactness, and advanced performance of its predecessor while incorporating significant improvements.
The range has been expanded with four versions to cover an even wider range of industrial applications:
It supports three-phase 200 V and 400 V power supplies as well as single-phase 200 V, with available power ratings up to 22 kW (HHD), while allowing side-by-side installation to optimize cabinet space.
In addition, its performance is enhanced with an output frequency of up to 599 Hz and an extended control range that ensures stable torque at low speeds. Advanced dynamic vector control improves control accuracy, while the rotor orientation function meets the needs of demanding positioning applications. Customizable logic functions have also been enhanced to increase integration flexibility within complex machine architectures.
In terms of connectivity, the drive has a dedicated RS-485 port, separate from the main port, and can integrate optional cards such as EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or Modbus TCP. Functionality can be expanded by replacing the control terminal card according to application requirements. Finally, the TP-A2SW multifunction keypad with Bluetooth connectivity and integrated tracing function facilitates operation and preventive maintenance and contributes to a long system life.
