Specifications

A platinum resistance thermometer is a type of temperature sensor that measures temperature over a range from -200°C to +600°C, and exceptionally up to 800°C. The measurement principle is based on a physical phenomenon: the electrical resistance of platinum varies with temperature. The higher the temperature, the greater the resistance.

A range of resistance thermometers and pt100 temperature sensors, custom-built from single units to small series, adapted to your specific needs.

Recommended range of use

  • -200 to -180°C: special design, increased fragility
  • -180 to -50°C: special design, increased fragility
  • -50 to +450°C: standard range
  • +450 to +600°C: special execution, brittleness, hypersensitivity to pollution, rapid degradation of precision tolerances
  • +600 to +850°C: uncontrollable accelerated ageing process
