Operating principle

The silicon sensing element receives a differential pressure that varies two capacitive values. It is floating mounted in the neck of the measuring cell to obtain high static pressure and temperature characteristics.

The FCX-AII V5 series pressure sensors are equipped with an analog or digital indicator. The digital indicator consists of a 2-line, 6-digit LCD display and 3 push buttons for accurate reading of the measured pressure.
It allows the display of the measurement in physical units and the local configuration of all the transmitter's adjustment parameters. The push buttons and the digital display provide an intuitive and understandable interface for the configuration of the instrument.

FCX-AII V5 pressure sensors are equipped with a HART® version 5 communication interface. A HART handheld terminal or a computer with a HART modem can be connected. The instruments are quickly configured and the settings saved.

Fuji Electric offers a complete set of FDT (Field Device Tool) drivers free of charge for DTM (Device Type Manager) software users.
This allows you to troubleshoot, configure, and access full settings using PACTware™ (or another FDT-compatible program).
