Heated line for analyser - HL

Fuji Electric's heated line consists of at least one PTFE gas sampling tube, surrounded by a heating cable along the entire length of the line to ensure a constant temperature high enough to prevent gas condensation.

The most common application is temperature control, often at 180°C, of flue gases taken from a chimney or furnace, for atmospheric emissions analysis (CEMS) or analysis of the atmosphere within an industrial furnace (cement, glass, steel, etc.).

As part of a continuous analysis system for atmospheric emissions (CEMS), gases are transferred from the probe to the analysis cabinet via a line heated to 180°C, in compliance with CEMS QAL1 certification. This temperature is necessary in order to preserve the properties (state and nature) of the gas mixture and perform a representative analysis. The heated line incorporates an optional interchangeable PTFE sampling tube, and often a second PTFE tube for reverse transfer of the standard gas.

The length of heated line depends on the linear distance between the sampling point and the analysis cabinet.
