Integral orifice flow meter - flow measurement with primary elements

Integral orifice flow meter for liquids and gases

Fields of application

It is a common instrument in the industrial process control sector.

Features

  • Measurement of very low flow rates, liquid or gas
  • Simple, precise installation using 2 oval flanges
  • Accuracy better than ±2% with flow calibration
  • Six interchangeable orifice section sizes
  • The slip ring allows the orifice section to be positioned without bolting.

Specifications

Designed for safe, easy installation, the integral orifice flow meter measures very low flows of liquids or gases in small-diameter pipes. It can be bolted directly to almost any manufacturer's DP transmitter using standard 54 mm centers. The body is machined from a single piece of 316 stainless steel (or other material) to guarantee high-pressure integrity. Its unique design incorporates "Coulton Slip-Ring" to hold the orifice section in place without the use of additional bolts or screws. Six different orifice section sizes can be fitted without the use of special tools. It is impossible to move the orifice section without removing it from the pipe. This significantly increases safety compared with other designs. The assembly is secured in the pipe with standard oval flanges for easy maintenance.
The assembly is secured in the pipeline using standard oval flanges, making it easy to service. If very high accuracy is required, the unit can be mounted on a meter and calibrated as a complete assembly.
