How to use Hart communicator ?

The Hart communicator is easy to configure. You will need the HART communicator, your field instruments and a power supply.

  1. Powering on and off:
    On: Press the power button to turn on the Hart field communicator.
    Off: Navigate to the main menu and select the 'Turn Off' or 'Shutdown' option.
  2. Connection to a Hart field device:
    Connect the HART Communicator to the analog signal leads to the device terminals. Typically, the red lead connects to the positive terminal, and the black lead connects to the negative terminal.
    Ensure that the device is powered on and in a mode that allows communication.
  3. Navigating the Menu:
    Once powered on, the main menu will display various options.
    Use the arrow keys or touchscreen (depending on the model) to navigate through the menu.
    Select the desired option by pressing the 'Enter' key or tapping on it.
