Fuji Electric France makes every effort to ensure that its measuring and monitoring equipment functions properly during commissioning and throughout the product life cycle.
If, however, you need to return a product for repair of a measuring instrument, or for calibration of a measuring instrument, please proceed as follows:
Download, print, complete and attach the decontamination certificate and shipper information.
Write down the operating conditions of the device, any faults found on it and any additional information that might help us with troubleshooting. This helps us to carry out repairs quickly.
Attach the document to the device and return it to Fuji Electric customer service.
To prevent damage in transit, please use the original packaging whenever possible.
If this is not possible, new packaging must be made to protect the unit as best as possible.
The equipment will be inspected on receipt and returned to the sender if the packaging is found to be inadequate or if damage due to inappropriate packaging is detected.
Due to environmental and labor protection regulations, Fuji Electric France technicians may not handle, test or repair returned devices that have been in contact with substances that pose a risk to the environment or to themselves.
This means that Fuji Electric France will take care of the maintenance of your device after sending back your device with the decontamination declaration, filled in and signed, and will confirm that the handling of the device is safe.
All devices returned without the decontamination declaration cannot be unpacked.
If the device has been used with toxic, caustic, flammable or water-polluting products, you must :
You must return the device to Fuji Electric France with the decontamination certificate. Once the repair department has registered receipt of the device, the sales department will send you a flat-rate estimate for expert appraisal.
On receipt of your expertise package order, our after-sales service will carry out the expertise and send you an expertise report.
The appraisal report informs you whether or not your measuring instrument is under warranty.
If the device is under warranty, we will credit your appraisal order and repair (or replace) and ship the equipment free of charge.
If the device is out of warranty and can be repaired, we will send you a quotation for the repair (excluding expert appraisal). On receipt of your repair order, our after-sales service will carry out the repair and return the device to you. You will be invoiced for the cost of expertise and repair.
If you do not order the repair, you will be billed only for the cost of the expert assessment. We will return your defective device or destroy it at your convenience.
If the device is out of warranty and cannot be repaired, we will send you a price quotation for equivalent new equipment, deducted from the cost of the survey.
On receipt of your order for new equipment, we will ship the new equipment. You will be invoiced for the cost of the survey and the new equipment (deducted from the cost of the survey).
If you do not place an order for new equipment, you will be billed only for the cost of the expert appraisal. We will return your defective device or destroy it at your convenience.
