Fuji Electric France helps industries produce cleaner energy through the use of cutting-edge instrumentation solutions for measuring fluids and monitoring gas emissions. Our goal is to create measurement solutions that contribute to solving energy management problems and protecting the environment. As a strategic player in the company, the Chief Financial Officer oversees all financial, accounting, and budgetary activities. Responsible for ensuring the reliability of accounts and reporting to our Japanese parent company, he/she contributes to key decisions made by the Executive Committee. In an international industrial environment, he/she manages the accounting team, supervises the budget, and ensures compliance.
Missions
Accounting
Supervise and ensure the maintenance of general and cost accounting
Produce monthly reports and annual accounts.
Record various transactions (salaries and social security contributions, taxes (excluding VAT, corporate income tax, and other taxes), provisions (risks, accounts receivable, etc.).
Check the accounts:
customers/suppliers (with tracking of deadlines and delays),
banks (reconciliations, short- and medium-term cash flow),
staff accounts and various debtors.
Monitor customer credit authorizations and disputes in conjunction with the sales representative.
Collect the information needed for closing and reporting
Taxation
Handle all tax returns: VAT, corporate income tax, various and sector-specific taxes.
Ensure deadlines are met and regulatory compliance is maintained.
Overseeing tax audits
Develop and maintain transfer pricing documentation
Forecast budgets & reporting
Prepare provisional budgets: orders, turnover, margins, overheads, investments, payroll, in line with company strategy, in conjunction with the various department managers.
Produce reliable monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for Japan.
Develop management tools and dashboards (KPIs)
Analyze performance and propose corrective actions.
Anticipate deviations and contribute to the overall strategy.
Cash management & banking relationships
Monitor cash flow on a daily and medium-term basis
Prepare financing and investment plans
Monitor and negotiate banking terms, contracts, and insurance policies
Management & organization
Supervise, train, and support the accounting team (2–3 people)
Structure procedures, optimize workflows, and ensure compliance
Driving digitalization:
dematerialization of invoices,
accounting workflows
ERP optimization
Relations with the parent company in Japan
Ensure accurate reporting that complies with group standards.
Maintain smooth and regular contact with the Japanese teams.
Participate in meetings, audits, and discussions with various partners
Strategic support
Member of the management committee: active participation in decision-making
Perform economic analyses, simulations, and forecasts.
Contribute to projects: investments, ERP, continuous improvement
Profile required
Master's degree in Accounting/Finance. 10 years of experience in a financial management role, ideally in an industrial environment.
Know-how
Proficiency in general and cost accounting, industrial management control, and group reporting
Excellent command of computer tools, particularly advanced Excel; appetite for Business Intelligence tools.
Very good knowledge of ERP systems (Sage X3 is an asset).
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Proficiency in French accounting standards and understanding of group standards.
Experience in invoice digitization and financial flow management.
Ability to thrive in an industrial and international environment, to deal with operational constraints, cultural diversity, and the sometimes differing expectations of stakeholders.
Ability to propose appropriate solutions, build consensus, and support teams. Your pragmatic and collaborative approach enables you to move projects forward while respecting the requirements on the ground.
