PSC series process controller

The PSC series process controller is a new era multi-loop controller where the functions of 2 controllers are compactly integrated into one unit.
Adopting a 16-color LCD display, it shows information in an easily visible way.
The user-friendly, multi-loop controller offers a flexible system with advanced operability and innovative features to make your manufacturing processes more efficient.

Advanced calculation and sequential control functions

The control and calculation functions are achieved by combining a wide variety of basic to advanced function blocks, normally found only in DCS systems. 2 PID blocks, 48 calculation blocks and 12 sequential control blocks (1068 commands) are available for all versions of the PSC series, applicable to a a wide range of application areas.

High reliability - for demanding process use

high reliability for demanding process applications

Control, display and I/O functions are managed by independent central units for increased safety and reliability.

The integrated manual charger (option PSC110/210) can be controlled independently, even in the event of failure of the main controller module, which can be easily replaced while maintaining emergency control.

Operating views - ease and continuity

Four types of operating views, short trend, digital display, bar graph and double bar graph, are available to suit various process applications, designed to provide ease and continuity for operators who are familiar with existing controllers.

Excellent scalability - Peer-to-peer and host-to-host communication

excellent extensibility

The PSC200/PSC210 features Modbus (Ethernet TCP/IP or RS-485 RTU) which allows easy connection to logging or SCADA systems on a host PC to monitor and control local I/O data.

In addition, RS-485 'NestBus' allows peer-to-peer communication with other controllers and I/O devices for I/O point flexibility.

Three-element boiler drum level control

checking the drum level on the three-element boiler

The SC100 controls two flow loops for water and injected chemical. The chemical flow is controlled in a constant ratio to the water flow. Other signals from pH and conductivity analysers can be monitored at the same time.
